15th Stitch Fix Box (Interviewing Attire Theme)

June 1, 2016

Welcome to my 15th Stitch Fix box, June 2016 Review, Interviewing Attire! I’m excited to write this article! Not only am I showing you my interviewing attire Stitch Fix box, but I am also showing you another added bonus outfit like last month! It’s a beautiful piece of clothing, you don’t want to miss it!

In addition, I am teaming up with Crazy Together and other collaborators to win a $700 Stitch Fix gift card!!! Find out more information below!

Style With Tina's Stitch Fix

I requested an interviewing attire box due to the fact that I am getting interviews left and right! I tend to wear similar items, and wanted to see what Vicki could find for me to spice up my interviewing wardrobe. Here’s the run-down: 3 dresses, a blazer, and a necklace. Sounds like I can get an outfit out of this box!

What is Stitch Fix?

Zad Denmark Hammered Abstract Shapes Necklace ($32.00)

I love that this necklace is silver! I’m a huge silver fan. I also like how this necklace has a classic look. I don’t like the fact the the necklace can get easily twisted, though. I would be forever trying to “fix” it. 🙁

Laundry by Shelli Segal Karisa Ruched Jersey Dress ($128.00) &

41Hawthorn Teegan Draped Blazer ($78.00)

When I took this dress out of the box, I immediately loved it! I like the cut, print, and style. Unfortunately,  it was a little short in the back. I don’t think that mixes well with going to interviews. Oops!

The blazer went well with this dress. It reminds me of a leather version that I kept in a past fix! The jacket was a little snug in the shoulder area. 🙁

Donna Morgan Eli Jersey Dress ($118.00)

Anyone else rocking the ’70s vibe? I like the long sleeves – it would be more doable in the fall/winter, though. Summer is almost here! In addition to the long sleeves, I did like the pattern. It’s cute! What do you think?

Maggy London Rylen Textured Lasercut Dress ($118.00)

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I’m trying to wear this dress with as much confidence as I could muster, but it makes me look pregnant! The dress is tight and short, which makes the appearance of a food baby. Ugh! We all have those, right? On a positive note, the jacket and necklace is adorable with this dress!

Gilli Shay Knit Maxi Dress ($74.00)

My favorite outfit! It might be because I actually picked it out myself from a Stitch Fix Facebook Page. Isn’t it a gorgeous maxi? I love the pattern, colors, birds, floral, green… it’s all ties together! The necklace makes this outfit a little classy, but I wouldn’t wear this to an interview. Too flashy! (Ha! I rhymed.) The maxi is a little too long, but nothing wedges can’t fix!

So, that’s my fix! What did you think of my items? Feel free to click the link below to be taken to Stitch Fix!

I think the black and white dress together with the blazer give you a fabulous look, perfect for an interview really! I like the maxi dress also but I feel the bottom part doesn’t really go that well with the one colored upper part. I find it too playful, while the top is very classy.

That maxi dress is GORGEOUS! I would love to get something like that, but I never have luck with mail order/subscription boxes!

I don’t know anything about stitchfix but the outfits look gorgeous on you. I especially love the blazer. I wish I could wear Maxi Dresses (too short).

  • Reply Joie Gahum June 3, 2016 at 2:34 am

I love the prints in the dress. This is perfect for those who would want to show some skin but remain looking professional at the same time. It’s class and it hugs on any shape perfectly.

I think I would prefer that jersey dress for an interview but the maxi dress is just looking fabulous on you. Work it girl! 😉 amd good luck to you future inerviews.

I love the knee-length dress paired with the blazer. I like the maxi dress too. They both look good on you!

I love the concept! I’ve read about it before, and it’s great to have personal stylists as well. Also that you get to try new things. Love the white printed dress!

Tina, The first ones showed nice patterns. But the one that looks best on you is Gilli Shay Knit Maxi Dress.

I love the set of outfit you have here. the maxi dress is lovely and that’s why I like most in all the attires you have worn.

The silver necklace is love. I guess it could be paired in dresses or shirts. It is too loud to cause distraction. I just love it.

  • Reply Kylie June 4, 2016 at 9:10 am

I didn’t love the necklace, but my personal taste is more minimal accessories (ie. nothing) You do look gorgeous in the maxi-dress though!

  • Reply Sheena June 6, 2016 at 3:19 am

I got that jacket in a previous fix and kept it… have only worn it a handful of times. It’s super cute, I just never settle on it when I’m ready to leave the house! Good luck on your interviews!

I love the necklace coupled with the Maggy London. I think it’s perfect, better than with the first dress, in my opinion. I like the jacket as well, it makes the cocktail dress suitable for a casual working day.

I like the dresses they sent you. The pattern on the Donna Morgan Eli Jersey Dress is just so cute! I love that one.

I love that white dress! Subscription boxes are so hit and miss that I am afraid of signing up to something like this!

  • Reply Heather @ Beyond the Aisle June 15, 2016 at 3:50 am

Good luck with your interviews! I think I’m going to request a draped blazer in my next Fix.

  • Reply Carolina Arango August 16, 2016 at 9:32 pm

The black dress with the blazer is stunning!! Wish you the best with your interview!

  • Reply Bhushavali January 2, 2017 at 8:39 pm

Lovely styling. The white dress is the one I totally love. Love your styling with black blazer and black shoes and that gorgeous necklace. The floral dress is my 2nd fav. I had a somewhat similar dress and I wore it to the Kew Gardens when tulips were in full bloom!!! 🙂

  • Reply Stargazer Writes January 11, 2017 at 2:55 am

I like the necklace personally. Also, the combination of both sets suits your body type. It flaunts your curves without making you look cheap. Overall, I love them. 🙂
