Before and After Haircut

Hello everyone! How is everyone’s week? It’s Friday, time to celebrate the weekend. 🙂

I’m celebrating Friday by showing you my new haircut that’s inspired by Pinterest (hair) and Stitch Fix (clothes). But first follow me on Pinterest – Style With Tina, and then take a look at this blog post to find out what Stitch Fix is all about! 🙂

Below is an image of my BEFORE and AFTER haircut. Oh, my! There is a huge difference, right? Not only did I cut my hair short, but I am also wearing make up in my after picture. Isn’t make up the best for enhancing beauty?

BEFORE: Fierro Elbow Patch Crew Neck Sweater After:

BEFORE: Market & Spruce Fierro Elbow Patch Crew Neck Sweater. You can find more info about this sweater in Stitch Fix #5.
AFTER: Gilli Noemie Chevron Skirt Faux Wrap Dress. Find more info below!

Here are the Pinterest inspired images that created my hairstyle. I did a lob hairstyle with caramel balayage highlights. If you live in or near Rhode Island/Massachusetts, I recommend Vanessa A Salon! 🙂

Valentine’s Day

On the 14th of February, my boyfriend and I went to a fancy restaurant for Valentine’s Day! What did you do?  My look is below for the most lovey dovey holiday there is! Don’t I look cute?

Outfit: Stitch Fix’s Gilli Noemie Chevron Skirt Faux Wrap Dress. You can find more pictures and information about the dress in my last fix!

Halfway through the dinner, my boyfriend surprised me with this gorgeous necklace. It’s from Kay’s (you know, those every kiss begins with Kay commercials – yeah, it was like that!). I’m a lucky girl to have such an awesome boyfriend. *sigh*

You may be wondering about this blog’s title… When I went to the salon to get my hair done, the hairdresser spun me around, pointed me to the mirror, and I immediately said, “Hey, I’m Tina Fey!” I may not be as beautiful, but I thought I resembled her character, Liz Lemon, in 30 Rock. Am I right?!

Well, there you have it! My before and after haircut along with some Stitch Fix clothes. My next blog post will be in March to feature my March Stitch Fix box! I’m going to be giving away a $20 dollar Stitch Fix gift card! Isn’t that exciting?! I can get you addicted to SF too. 😉 Stay tuned!

I’ve got a very unmanageable hair and I remember one time when I wanted to have my hair cut very short I also browsed on pinterest, saved on my phone a few choices and showed it to the hairdresser. The look was achieved for a day and then after I bathe, my hair was a mess! I had to use a hair gel every day to keep them in place.

Aww! Hairdressesers work their magic, and then it’s up to us to keep achieving the effect we want. I hope next time it’s better!

I just got a new hairstyle this week. That’s so important to feel good about yourself; your hair. I like this kind of post, like a girl talk.

Would love to see your hair! I totally agree with you about “girl talk” 😉

The new haircut and the make-up makes you look like a proper business woman, someone working in the financial district 🙂

Nice hairstyle! I also cut my hair short, it used to be very long but I got tired of maintaining it.. I think your hairstyle is better than before you changed it because it gave you that vibrant, classy appeal.
