Stitch Fix #13 aka Disney Fix!

April 4, 2016

Hi everyone! Welcome to my 13th Fix, Disney Fix! Before I get into my fix, I just wanted to congratulate Tara H for winning February’s Stitch Fix 20.00 dollar gift card! Congratulations, and I hope you love Stitch Fix as much as I do!!! 🙂

This time, I asked my stylist to create a Disney fix for me. This will be the first time I will be going, and I thought she did a great job. The only request I had from Vicki was to include a maxi, which she did!

Style With Tina – Stitch Fix #13

Style With Tina

Stitch Fix Loveapella Carlita Jersey Maxi Dress ($78.00)

I love the colors and print of this maxi! I asked my stylist for one as I have never tried one on before. I believe it’s the perfect length! So beautiful. However, I am not sure if I like it on me. What do you think?

Stitch Fix Liverpool Belfast Denim Jacket ($98.00)

I added the white jacket I got from this fix with the maxi. I think it’s super cute, and really makes the outfit whole. Sadly, I would need a bigger size as I cannot button the jacket. Yikes!

Stitch Fix Loveappella Zola Asymmetrical Striped Dress ($58.00)

I wanted to love this dress. I really did. But I just cannot get over the hemline. How it hikes up in the middle, and plus, it had this weird elastic type material in the middle. I was like “what the heck is this?!”

As per my stylist’s request, Vicki, I added my green vest I got in my last fix. It’s cute but I’m not totally sold. Thoughts?

I added my white jacket and 31 bits necklace, I love this combo better! It’s very fresh and clean!

Stitch Fix Adelyn Wilbur Textured V-Neck Romper ($78.00)

I am not fond of rompers. It’s cute on other people, just not me. Plus, I’m the type of girl who pees a lot. So, definitely not something I want to reach back (hard enough as it is) and try to unzip every time I want to … you know. The design is pretty – reminds me of trees. 🙂

Stitch Fix SeaVees Monterey Lace-Up Sneakers Green ($68.00)

New Arrival! Shoes! Stitch Fix!

Here are the shoes that came in my fix! Yes, Stitch Fix is now carrying shoes!!! How exciting is that? I love the green sneakers – it’s a forest green color. It’s very pretty. My stylist suggested to pair it with the Zola Striped Dress but I wasn’t feeling it. 🙁 I actually have a similar pair but they are gray!

Style card for your convenience. 🙂

Well, there you have it! My Disney fix! I didn’t write if I was keeping or returning anything because I wanted to genuinely see what you all thought. Am I styling myself right? Is the make up okay? Or is it just a total bust? What did you all think? Please let me know if the comments!!!

Once again, I am teaming up with Maria from Crazy Together.

P.S.: If you know of any Disney places to suggest for a first timer, please tell me. 🙂

Here are my thoughts on your clothes.

Outfit #1 The denim jacket added an oomp on your
Stitch Fix Loveapella Carlita Jersey Maxi Dress. Even though the jacket cannot be closed down, it’s better that way since it’s better to show off the V-shaped of the maxi dress. It would be a waste if you close all the buttons.

Outfit #2 Stitch Fix Loveappella Zola Asymmetrical Striped with the green vest looks totally adorable and makes you look sexier. I can envision the whole outfit with a white sneakers.

Outfit #3 The design is good and the romper looks comfortable, but, as you said, peeing is a major concern for that outfit.

If I were to go to Disneyland with those outfits, I would totally choose outfit no. 2. It will totally pop in the photos! For Disneyland suggestion, the only Disneyland’s I’ve been to is in Tokyo and Hong Kong. Anyway, have fun styling and have fun on your trip 🙂

Wow!! I love your hauls!! Hope you like them all.. Thanks for sharing!

If I have to make a choice or pick the ones I think are really nice, here are my choices:

Loveappella Zola Asymmetrical Striped dress and Adelyn Wilbur Textured V-Neck romper.

  • Reply Kat April 4, 2016 at 10:53 am

My favorite among these is the maxi dress, without the denim jacket. It looks like the perfect length indeed. Are there other colors available? I’m thinking of something more cheerful than purple. 🙂

I love that maxi dress on you! It’s so flattering to your figure! I also really like the asymmetrical dress on you as well. Great fix! Although not very Disney like in my opinion, but oh well cute clothes! 🙂

  • Reply Zion April 4, 2016 at 11:19 pm

My choice would be the: Adelyn Wilbur Textured V-Neck Romper

The picsk she gave you look good on you though and reading the stitch fix card that was sent along makes me smile since your stylist actually took the time to read your blog. consider your preferences (like not showing your arms) and let you know how great of a person you are! Plus, it looks like you’re really enjoying yourself!

I loved the white jacket and maxi so much.. And btw maxi looks fabulous on you.. 🙂

You look gorgeous dear especially with the maxi dress, it fits you nicely.

  • Reply Joanna April 5, 2016 at 6:01 pm

I think the maxi dress looks really good on you, no need to worry. Not so sure about the stripe dress though. I mean the top part is great in the first picture of it, but once you go to the bottom… maybe if you share a picture of the whole outfit? The shoes are also really nice, I like the color. Not a fan of the romper though. Just my honest opinion 🙂

The white jacket is super cute and would be better kept undone, I don’t find buttoning up denim jackets flattering at all! The striped dress looks gorgeous on you especially with the white jacket!

I loved the sneakers and the denim jacket. I am not a big fan of Gompers myself, especially not for my 4 years old daughter. It looks really cute but if you wannna use the loo God bless you

I love the maxi dress on you. I think the white jacket is soooooo cute and it doesn’t matter if it can’t button in my opinion. Where it hits you looks really good. I am not a fan of the romper probably because I have a small bladder and it would drive me crazy to have to become naked every time I used the bathroom. The vest is cute and I think a great color on you. I like the shoes too but if you already have a similar color then stick with those. I guess I had a lot to say on your stitch fix! I love these posts! 🙂

The maxi dress is my favorite. How come you have a personal stylist? The looks are different and surprising. It’s great to see different styles on you.

  • Reply Nina Sogue April 6, 2016 at 7:50 pm

I love the first 2 options, especially when paired with the white jacket. The green vest, it looks okay as well but I’m personally not into clothes with so much colors. And I’m not into rompers since I really value comfort. I think it would be helpful to get a fuller view of #2 and #3. I like looking at my ensemble from head to toe – makes pairing easier 🙂

Love your stitch fixes! My favs from this one are maxi dress – pattern is just so pretty and the romper. I LOVE rompers, i have to go to shopping to buy new ones for spring 🙂

  • Reply Rachel Arandilla April 8, 2016 at 9:44 am

I would go for the striped dress! I personally think the hemline added some sexy to it, and it can go from day to night. Love the accessorizing!

I love that you requested a Disney Fix! Have a blast on your trip. We took our son last year for the first time and it was so fun!
I really like the Maxi Dress with the white denim jacket. Don’t worry that it doesn’t button. Mine doesn’t either, I’m not sure it’s supposed to 🙂 I also love the green sneakers!

  • Reply Roselle C Toledo April 10, 2016 at 3:34 pm

I like the white jacket and the green sneakers. Somehow I envision myself looking good wearing them. The maxi looks great on you! I’ve got something similar to the romper’s color and print and the black accent borders except that it’s a mini dress.

  • Reply Stella @ Travelerette May 7, 2016 at 1:03 am

I think the romper looks cute on you! But you are right about it being annoying to wear. I do love the color green on those sneakers. I also think the maxi dress looks great on you, but it is more of an “ourfit” with the jacket. When I go to Disney, I just want a long skirt or tights because of the rides!

  • Reply Jessica May 12, 2016 at 3:32 pm

I love the sneakers and jackets. The color selections are also great. My top selection would be the white denim jacket. 🙂

  • Reply Berlin May 13, 2016 at 11:29 am

If I am to choose, i would wear the maxi dress and the denim jacket. It seems they also fit you perfectly. Love the sneakers too and them being green.

  • Reply Klaudia May 13, 2016 at 11:20 pm

Oh , I love that long dress on top . It really suits you so well .In combination with the white Jacket really stylish . The marine style with the blue and white stripe is very pretty as well . Nice combination !

  • Reply Orana Velarde May 15, 2016 at 6:03 pm

The jacket is great! Yea, being able to button it up is probably best. the necklace is gorgeous and so are the shoes. The romper is cute but Im sure I would have the same problem with the peeing!

  • Reply Ten May 16, 2016 at 10:21 am

Nice combination that suits you well. And loved the shoes. I’ll share your idea to my wife. Thanks!

  • Reply Dominic Barrios May 24, 2016 at 7:51 am

I like this Stitch Fix Loveappella Zola Asymmetrical Striped Dress on you. Adding the green vest and the white jacket, the whole outfit still looks great. That’s three different looks just by layering.
