Style With Tina’s 14th Stitch Fix Box (Romantic Flair Theme)

May 5, 2016

Welcome to my 14th box, Romantic Flair!Β Today, I am thrilled to show you this box because I love floral prints and romantic flair. It’s so soft-looking, feminine, and pretty. I don’t have a lot in my wardrobe of these flower-y print but that’s what Stitch Fix is for!

What is Stitch Fix?

In this box, I received three blouses, a silk dress, and a cardigan. Oh, yeah, and I got this pretty kimono from a Stitch Fix Facebook page… check below for more information. πŸ™‚

Amanda Uprichard Emely Silk Dress ($228.00) and Sweet Grey Jafar Peplum Back Cardigan ($68.00)

Without a doubt, this has to be the cutest and prettiest dress ever made! It looks very romantic. It’s real silk!!! I love the way it feels on me. Big plus! However, it’s a bit big on top and it’s a bit priceyΒ  ($228.00). Eeeek! I really do love the print and the colors… what do you all think of this one? What do you think about the cardigan?

I am enjoying the look of the cardigan, it’s a great length and has a peplum! Β I originally didn’t think it would work with my behind! Haha! I have more pictures of the cardigan in my outfits below!

Crescent Jardell Chiffon Overlay Blouse ($44.00)

I tried this blouse with two different types of pants – jeans and cranberry slacks. I feel the jeans made the look relaxed, and the slacks made the outfit more professional! While I love the look of the slacks, blouse, and cardigan… the blouse just isn’t doing it for me. I feel top-heavy in it.

Le Lis Truxton Embellished Crew Neck Blouse ($48.00)

Once again, I tried this blouse and cranberry slacks combo. I like the look! The slacks are becoming so useful in my outfits! Sadly, I also feel top-heavy in this. Maybe it is because the tops are flow-y? I am more of a ‘fit like a glove’ type of girl. I really, really do love this blouse/print. *sigh* Thoughts?

BRIXON IVY Obdulia Keyhole Back Blouse ($48.00)

When I first pulled this blouse out of the box, my immediate thought was that I HATED IT. It looked like a three-year old threw up bubble gum all over the shirt. But… as I put it on, I really liked how the blouse laid on me. The cut was pretty along with the cute straps. What do you think of this blouse?

Gwenifer Paradigma Kimono (I paid $50.00)

BONUS!!! This wasn’t in my box but it is from Stitch Fix. I got it from Off the Hanger, which is a Facebook page that handles Stitch Fix items. I feel that this screams romantic flair. *sigh* I was so happy when I snagged this up… it is almost everyone’s #1 item aka unicorn! πŸ˜‰

That’s my May box! What does everyone think of my items? I am pondering the blouses, probably not going to keep the dress, and giving a thumbs up on the cardigan! πŸ™‚

I am so in love with the dress and you look amazing in it but it is expensive. If you don’t have a place to showcase it, it wouldn’t be worth it! I think they are cute blouses but I can see where you are on the fence about them. I love the cardigans but I am drawn to them naturally!

    • Reply Stylewithtina May 9, 2016 at 1:44 am

Awww, thank you! πŸ™‚ I completely agree with you about not being able to wear the dress and get my money’s worth too. I’m a cardigan lover too!

      Would you try this service?

Hi, Tina. I think the designs are all nice, but the one that stand out is Crescent Jardell Chiffon Overlay Blouse. I think it looks really good on you… or more like, you look really good wearing that.

Love all the floral clothes. Like the dress the best. But why not keeping it or I did i understand you clearly? Also find the blouses so beautiful as i enjoy wearing floral blouses, too. And the kimono? . Its seldom i find floral kimonos that nice.

    • Reply Stylewithtina May 9, 2016 at 1:41 am

I really didn’t want to keep the whole box as it’s really expensive! For this box, it was over 400 dollars! Yikes! I normally just keep one thing per box. πŸ™‚

I just love every item that you have there. I am into soft, flowy fabrics right now & am starting to appreciate floral prints. The first dress is really pretty and you totally rock it especially with the red pumps. Those are all great finds you got there.

    • Reply Stylewithtina May 9, 2016 at 1:45 am

Thank you so much for your sweet comments! The dress was super cute, and great for a sunny day. I just wish it wasn’t big on top! Those are actually red cardinal Tieks, not pumps! πŸ˜€

I think the cardigan is a great choice. It looks super cute on you. The dress is beautiful, but too me it’s too expensive if the fit isn’t perfect. And that kimono at the end is really stunning. I want one!

    • Reply Stylewithtina May 9, 2016 at 1:48 am

Hello Stella! Thank you, I’m glad I made the choice to keep the cardigan. I think it will make a nice addition to my wardrobe. πŸ™‚ And the kimono is to die for! Maybe you could try the service for 1 month and see how you like it?! πŸ™‚

You look really nice in all the outfits. I really like floral prints because you can wear them during the day or at night and they help your outfit to stand out in a classy and not over the top way. I like the Crew Neck Blouse the best.

  • Reply Aika May 9, 2016 at 7:16 am

Everything looks cute on you! I personally love the dress because that’s what I normally wear. Lol. It’s too expensive though. Floral designs are absolutely lovely!

I absolute love all of these pieces and I typically don’t love a lot of flower prints! These are all fabulous and my favorite is that dress!

  • Reply Ana De- Jesus May 9, 2016 at 6:26 pm

I love the floral dress even if it is super expensive but I think the print and colour makes it worth every penny!

  • Reply Zwitsy May 9, 2016 at 7:26 pm

I like floral prints too! They look fab on you. But what I like most of the three is the Crescent Jardell Chiffon Overlay Blouse. I find it nice and can be paired with any type of bottom wear.

  • Reply Nya May 9, 2016 at 9:06 pm

Even if I’m more into the geeky and bookish surprise boxes, I can say that the content of yours is really cute. The silk dress and the overlay blouse looks so fancy and suits you well. Perfect for the season with the colors and motifs.

  • Reply Liz Mays May 9, 2016 at 9:21 pm

How cute! I love the new pieces. The flowery romantic theme is perfect for this time of year.

  • Reply Eunis De Guzman May 10, 2016 at 9:25 am

I am a floral lover clothes. I like the dresses with a floral touch specially when it’s in a pastel color. The prices here in Ph is quite good specially when you go in Divisoria that is really a must try. I remember joining in a contest with a 2,000.00php budget. I bought 4 floral blouses and 2 jean with 1 dress. But don’t expect that it is a branded one, oh! btw. It suits you so well πŸ™‚

  • Reply Cheryle May 10, 2016 at 10:01 am

I would assume you really like florals! So nice! By the way, I like that white silk dress. I think it would be perfect for most occasions–casual hangouts and night dates.

  • Reply Joanna May 10, 2016 at 1:59 pm

The dress is really cute, shame it is so big in the upper part. However, I think it can be fixed with a few safety pins. It’s a shame to give it away just because of that, it is real beautiful.

  • Reply Kalliopi Sakellariou May 10, 2016 at 3:21 pm

Flowers definitely my favorite clothing style. Thank you so much for sharing, you look super cute in the outfits.

  • Reply Chris Blair May 10, 2016 at 4:05 pm

Ooh love all the florals in this fix. I’m a huge fan of florals. That dress and the kimono are my faves

  • Reply Kenia Mazariegos May 11, 2016 at 2:06 am

Love florals, I’m still contemplating if I should give subscription boxes a chance. There are so many of them promoting nice clothes, I can’t decide.
