Stitch Fix #16 (Printed Theme Box)

July 1, 2016

Welcome to my Stitch Fix box #16, Printed Theme! I asked Vicki for a Kimono only request because I have started to wear them more often! Unfortunately, they don’t have a lot of them in their inventory now and was only able to send me one. I made a post about a kimono a few fixes back – look at how pretty it is! 🙂 With that said, this turned into a printed theme box! Those are fun, aren’t they?

In addition to this fix, I also bought a shirt from a Facebook group called Off The Hangers. I am not sure if Stitch Fix carries this, but I adored it anyway, and for the price – it’s hard to beat! Enjoy looking through this fix! I know I did!

What is Stitch Fix?

Collective Concepts Katelynn Dress ($78.00) &

Pixley Ashton Crochet Lace Kimono ($48.00)

I found this dress very pretty! You can see the purples, blues, and whites. It is really a gorgeous dress. However, went I put it on, I didn’t like how it laid on me. For instance, I didn’t like the cut of the dress. I prefer V-neck dresses, such as wraps. I felt the dress “smothered” the girls, haha! The kimono was light and airy. I loved how well it went with the dress. It was just a tad to small for me. If I wanted to keep it, I could email customer service and asked if they had a bigger size. 🙂 I didn’t keep either pieces of clothing, unfortunately.

Skies are Blue Mirabelle Mixed Material Dress ($68.00)

I have to say the dress went really well with my Red Cardinal Tieks. However, that’s really the only thing I liked. Sadly, the dress is weird… too much “padding” for the top, there was no defined waist, and the length of the dress was on the short side. Do you all see what I am talking about? I didn’t keep this dress for obvious reasons.

Pixley Yuli Lace Cap Sleeve Blouse ($68.00)

The lace details is so feminine and pretty. It was too small though, and I didn’t like how the color of the blouse matched my skin tone. That’s a bit of a no-no! I have seen pictures of this on Pinterest and it comes in black too. I wish I had that instead of light pink. 🙁 I didn’t keep this one, either.

Loveappella Chanti Knit Top ($48.00)

This shirt is very soft!!!! If you get it in a fix, keep it! Request it if you can. You need it in your life! This will be cute for 4th of July! I am so wearing it then. Isn’t it cute? I kept this one, of course! Can you tell I am slightly excited for this one?

Loveappella Cold Shoulder Blouse – Off The Hanger ($34.00)

If you like Stitch Fix items for less, you need to shop here!!! I love finding goodies there… it’s where I found my beautiful kimono (posted link and image above). Here’s the link to their page: Off The Hanger Facebook Page

Without further ado, here’s my beautiful buy!

Can you believe it? I had second thoughts with this purchase, but it grew on me. I love floral, the colors, and the cold shoulder blouse makes this easier to wear when it’s cool out. 🙂 What do you think?

    Hi, Tina!

The Katelynn dress is indeed very nice, but I personally don’t like the kimono. I also like the others, all of them in fact, but this one – Pixley Yuli lace cap sleeve blouse – I think stands out. 🙂

Nice clothes! The last floral one is really great. Looks very nice on you! Seems like a great place for shopping.

I like the blouse you picked. Not only it is beautiful because it’s floral but I also like the cut. I prefer the lace part. It’s off shoulder but I don’t see any wardrobe malfunction because it attaches well, if you know what I mean. It looks feminine, too.

Those are gorgeous outfits, Tina! I will pick the Collective Concepts Katelynn Dress as my favorite though. 🙂 I do love your mix and match too.

That last blouse is great! I think the color and cut suit you. I do think the first dress was pretty too, but if you didn’t like it then that’s what matters. You need to dress to please yourself!

Woah. The colors give you a glow and it’s so amazing! I really like the dress, on the first two photos. 😀

My fave is definitely the t shirt. I liked the combination of full color and stripes. And if its soft, then it wins all my points.

I also like the striped T-Shirt, a basic that is a useful addition to any wardrobe.

My favourite is the dress and the lace kimono. Sorry to hear they did not have any more kimonos.

What a nice purchase, indeed my favorite is the floral blouse with the cold shoulder 🙂 Really pretty and summery.

The prints look very dainty and feminine! I like the off-shoulder the most on you. Great styling choices.

All of the look so cute on you! My favourite one is the first dress with flowerish print – simple one piece which can easily accessorize for different occasions.

  • Reply Dreammerin July 6, 2016 at 6:01 pm

The shirt with these blue stripes is definitely my favorite choice!

  • Reply Sonnie July 7, 2016 at 2:11 pm

The chanti knit top looks good on you, youthful and lively.

I love the cold shoulder top and the mixed material dress! That top white part of the dress makes it so unique, and it fits you super well! You look lovely!

  • Reply yogoandcream December 3, 2016 at 6:28 pm

I love the Loveappella Cold Shoulder Blouse. It’s totally my style. I hides my flabby shoulders which was the result of eating too much. The kimono will do great wonders for me too. Unfortunately, it will be too pricey to order from my country and have it ship here. Thanks for sharing your purchase.

Beautiful pieces you have here! I love all the floral items. Anything floral, I’m instantly in love with hehe. And I’m also loving stripes at the moment! All of them look great on you 😀

  • Reply Laura H January 11, 2017 at 10:44 pm

I love the last piece with the cut out shoulder detail, that’s very in fashion at the moment. It’s a shame that you didn’t get that lace one in black as I imagine it could be very nice. Personally I used to prefer V necks as well but some reason now I prefer ones that go up to the neck, so I probably would’ve kept that floral dress that covers ‘the girls’ 😉
