Click the image above to find out more about Stitch Fix! Here is the run down, if you haven’t heard about it yet…

Stitch Fix is an online service company that provides clothes, jewelry, handbags, and other goodies to fashion-challenged people to your door (or maybe you are a fashionista and like to venture out from places like the mall!) Don’t worry, I am fashion-challenged and maybe Style With Tina is a way for me to overcome that! I really hate shopping at the mall due to fitting rooms (awkward, anyone? I am always afraid someone is watching me!) and Stitch Fix was the perfect solution for me to try on clothes in my own home.

There is a 20 dollar fee but that goes towards anything in your box! Stitch Fix packs 5 items for you to try on. If you don’t like it, just put it in the shipping return slip that they provide! It’s that easy! If you love all 5 items, there is a 25% discount!!! In addition to your items, there are also style cards they present to you. (Fashion-challenged, anyone?)

Style Card

What a style card looks like! Helps you figure out how outfits can be styled together!

1) Sign up.

2) Fill out a fashion survey so they can get the gist of what you like! Your sizes, what outfits you like, and price range of items!

3) Pick a date to schedule your fix. I say, closer the better! 😉

4) Your fix has arrived! Congratulations! Throw a party and have fun trying on your items! Hint: Before saying “This is not me!”, try on your items and even look into your current wardrobe to see if there is something that goes with it! That’s what I do! 🙂

If you have any questions, just let me know!

Hi, Tina. Today, I thought of visiting your first blog post, after dropping in sometimes elsewhere. Curious. So if you were to receive the items, you are allowed to try them on, and return if you don’t to buy it? Does it mean you pay upfront? Or do you pay later when you have decided which ones you are purchasing? Also, does the company like… wash the clothes if returned before sending to another customer?

Hi Robert! Let’s imagine a scenario: It’s a 20 dollar fee to get styled (which you can use towards your box). Your stylist pulls 5 items for you to try. This gets delivered to your front door! (Free shipping both ways.) You open up your box, try it on for a few minutes, and if you like the item, you keep it! If you don’t, you return it in a return slip that comes with the box. Once Stitch Fix receive the return slip package, they process what you keep and what you don’t, and deduct the amount total from your account. As for washing clothes, Stitch Fix has a quality control team. If an item looks not up to par, they do not send it to the customer. 🙂 They have wonderful customer service and if something snaps, breaks, or has a loose thread, your replacement item is on it’s way in a day or two. Hope this help imagine what the process is like!
