Style With Tina’s 18th Stitch Fix Box (Business Causal Themed)

September 1, 2016

Welcome to my 18th Stitch Fix box, business casual outfits! I want to first apologize for not writing last month… I received a box and it was a bust (Box #17)! πŸ™Β  Since it was such a bust, I switched stylists. I am now receiving boxes from Becca. πŸ™‚ I asked Becca for a business causal themed box since I started a new job! I am a resource coordinator for a non-profit organization that advocates people with disabilities. I’m excited for the opportunity, and to show you what I got!

What is Stitch Fix?

Liverpool Anita Skinny Pant ($78.00)

I wanted to love these pants, they are like butter! However, because of how petite I am (4’11” here), they were pooling at the knees… not a good look. πŸ™ I need extra extra petite! Is it such a thing?! Let me know if there is in the comments. Also, take note ofΒ  my gorgeous taupe Tieks! Love!

Returned!

Gilli Kamilie Faux Suede Knit Dress ($68.00)

Wow. Wow. Wow. This dress is so soft and feminine. It’s perfect to wear to the office on a sunny day! The floral is beautiful, and the top part is a charcoal grey… so pretty. Be sure to request this in your next fix… it’s a must for a business casual day!!!

Kept!

Colette Chavez Pop Color Cuff Knit Top ($54.00)

I wasn’t a fan of the top because of the yellow sleeves and the stripes. Yellow doesn’t look good on me as I have a yellow-ish tone to my skin. It’s very soft and clings to your body – which is a plus if you want to show it off! πŸ™‚

Returned!

Daniel Rainn Koda Split Neck Top ($68.00)

I love the green in this top! It’s so pretty and the style of the top is perfect for the job. However, I wasn’t fond of the thin material or the price tag. I have found better deals at JC Penny’s and Macy’s for top like these for a fraction of the cost.

Returned!

Toms Cosmopolitan Distressed Leather Tote ($158.00)

I wanted to like this bag, I really did.. but it didn’t feel like leather. It felt more like suede, and for the price, I could get a cheaper tote elsewhere.

Returned!

There you have it – my 18th Stitch Fix box, Business CasualΒ Outfits! I hope you enjoyed viewing my goodies! Is there a piece that you liked? Loved? Hated? Let me know in the comments! πŸ™‚

Hi, Tina. Has it been a while since your last post? I like the knit dress more than all others, it is beautiful and it fits you perfectly! Another one I like is the gigantic tote bag. At first glance, my immediate thought was how perfect it is for women with little kids… LOL. Moms bring all sorts of things when they have little ones.

Ohhhh. This stitch fix sounds like a good idea. It’s like a beauty box with samples of products but this time, with clothes. This is perfect for busy people. I love the element of surpise you get when you receive this kind of boxes. Hehe. All the items were great btw!

Wow! Great clothes indeed!! I like the Gilli Kamilie Faux Suede Knit Dress but it’s quite expensive. Maybe the quality is really great. Keep posting.

The pants and suede dress looks lovely that I can’t keep my eyes off! All of the pieces you got look good on you and compliment you! Here, I only know of Sample Room PH that gives samples but only beauty goodies. I just wish that something like this would exist here. Also, I think you need to have a tripod so you could take outstanding ootd photos and could lessen the hassle of holding it. πŸ˜€

Hello Tina! You nailed every outfit. Loving the casual style as it looks comfortable easily to blend with bag and shoes. The Gilli Kamilie Faux Suede Knit Dress is my top pick for these choices.

I got the samelooking top at romwe last year, literally same as Colette Chavez Pop Color Cuff Knit Top and I only got it for $9.99! Oops! I love it to bits too!

I agree with your Tina. You awesome in that green top. I personally love green too. Not to be bias it suits you well. Also I think the third combination can be an alternative, I love the casual look and elegance in it. I wish to see my partner in that dress soon.

    Hi Tina!

Your outfits look gorgeous.Im still curious though, how does Stitch Fix really work? It sounds interesting but we dont have that here in the Philippines, if I’m not mistaken πŸ™

Hi! It’s a service where a stylist handpicks and delivers 5 pieces to your door! πŸ™‚

I really like the Colette Chavez Pop Color Cuff Knit Top, I have a similar one. I love the black and white stripe pattern and also the yellow sleeves. My one doesn’t have the colored sleeves. I wish it had as it looks really good!

Oh I love all the clothes you got! I keep hearing about stitch fix and i want to check it out now.

I’m a Francophile type of girl, so I actually loved the striped, color pop top! I’d wear it with capris and flats (and with those first pair of pants you tried, I imagine!) The knit dress is also wearable! I’m really liking this idea of the Stitch Fix box, and short of wishing they had a service in my part of the world.

This is the first time I heard about stifch fix and I love it! I like the pop color cuff too. I can related to having business casuals because I have a day job. I like the femininity of the knit dress too! Looks good on you πŸ™‚

I wish something similar to this kind of subscription box is in the PH! πŸ™‚ Most of the clothes look great on you, but my favorite is the Colette Chavez Pop Color Cuff Knit Top. It really looks versatile, and you can pair it with pants or a skirt, then dress it up or down. But I also like the dress, yeah it also looks perfect. πŸ™‚
