Style With Tina’s 19th, 20th, & 21st Stitch Fix Boxes (3 in 1 Deal)

November 1, 2016

Long time, no see! I’m sorry that I haven’t updated this blog in a month or so… my computer broke down! I ended up getting a brand new one last week!Β Good news is that I kept taking pictures while my computer blew up in smoke. And guess what? 3 Stitch Fix boxes in one post! 3 times the fun, right?! Whoo hoo!

I changed my stylist from BeccaΒ to Allison. Love!

WhatΒ is this Subscription Service about?

Style With Tina #19

Stitch Fix’s Loveappella Caracas Stitch Detail Knit Top ($48.00)

Loveappella Caracas Stitch Detail Knit Top

This top didn’t wow me, sadly. It was bland and really didn’t do much for my figure. Plus, the stitching in the middle would have drove me crazy. I sent it back.

Stitch Fix’s Market & Spruce Fynn Tie Waist Striped Cardigan ($74.00)

Market & Spruce Fynn Tie Waist Striped Cardigan

Market & Spruce Fynn Tie Waist Striped Cardigan

This was a cute cardigan, but the colors didn’t suit me, and plus, the wide stripes did nothing for me. Boo hoo! πŸ™ I returned this piece.

Stitch Fix’s Collective Concepts Judit V-Neck Blouse ($58.00)

collective concepts judit v-neck blouse

I love the color of the blouse so much that I decided to keep it! I have worn this countless of times so the price “decreased” every time I wear it. I think I will stick with that kind of math! πŸ˜‰

Stitch Fix’s Hailey 23 Effey Sweater Dress ($48.00)

Hailey 23 Effey Sweater Dress

Hailey 23 Effey Sweater Dress

Where to start with this dress? I’m 28, nearly 29 pretty soon. This reminds me of something you would see on a 9-year-old. Ugh! Also, the look and material reminds me of something you would see on a floor of a banquet facility. It’s just all kinds of wrong. I definitely sent this back!

Stitch Fix’s Dex Judd Faux Wrap Blouse ($68.00)

Dex Judd Faux Wrap Blouse

Dex Judd Faux Wrap Blouse

I just adore this color combo of the burgundy jeans, cute blouse, and topping it off with my Taupe Tieks. However, the blouse was a little too short for me. So, I decided to return it. It’s adorable, right!?

Onto the next box! Stitch Fix #20.

Stitch Fix’s Lavender Brown Yacob Boat Neck Blouse ($168.00)

Lavender Brown Yacob Boat Neck Blouse

Lavender Brown Yacob Boat Neck Blouse

Whew! Look at the price tag on this baby! I adore the floral design and the softness of the material but the price was just too steep for my blood. My red cardinal Tieks make the outfit complete, doesn’t it?! I decided to return the blouse.

Stitch Fix’s Papermoon Timmers Lace Details Blouse ($54.00)

Papermoon Timmers Lace Detail Blouse

Papermoon Timmers Lace Detail Blouse

This look is a bit country! I like the plaid and lace together… looks cute! It’s a bit snug on me though, so I decided I was going to return it. I could have asked for an exchanged to a bigger size if I wanted to! πŸ™‚

Stitch Fix’s 41Hawthorn Peaty Pintuck Detail Henly Blouse ($68.00)

41Hawthorn Peaty Pintuck Detail Henley Blouse

41Hawthorn Peaty Pintuck Detail Henley Blouse

The color of the shirt was really cute – pink! This would look super cute on a mama who was pregnant. But guess what? I’m not! So, this had to be returned. Even the little tuck in couldn’t save this shirt.

Stitch Fix’s BRIXON IVY Hemsworth Lace Split Back Blouse ($68.00)

Brixon Ivy Hemsworth Lace Split Neck Blouse

Brixon Ivy Hemsworth Lace Split Neck Blouse

Here’s the look of the front and back of the blouse. It flares out at the sides of the hip. It’s a stunning color,Β emerald-green! But it just didn’t flatter my body type – especially the split in the back of the shirt; it enhanced my rear! Yikes. I returned this item.

Stitch Fix’s Daniel Rainn Koda Split Neck Blouse ($68.00)

Daniel Rainn Koda Split Neck Blouse

I love this look! It’s so cute, I could gobble myself up! I ended up keeping this blouse! Love, love, love! It’s really adorable for a fall look with the green puffer jacket I received in one of my earlier fixes. I wore this blouse a few times now!

Before I forget, look who got engaged back in September! Me! πŸ˜€ He picked out a good one, didn’t he?! (Yes, me and the ring!)

Engagement Ring

Onto the next box – Stitch Fix #21!

Stitch Fix’s RD Style Louey Side Button Pullover ($74.00)

This screams winter/fall, right?! Ahhh! I loved the material and how warm it is. It will definitely keep me toasty in New England weather. IΒ kept this! <3

Stitch Fix’s Papermoon Atta Knit Lasercut Dress ($74.00)

Papermoon Atta Knit Lasercut Dress

This outfit would be cute to a Holiday party! Sadly, because of the elastic waist, I kept wanting to pull it down. Maybe a size bigger would work? Regardless, I returned this little number.

Stitch Fix’s Loveappella Dienne Mixed Pattern Knit Top ($54.00)

Loveappella Dienne Mixed Pattern Knit Top

I loved this cute little top! It’s floral and stripes together! It’s so cute with my cardigan.Β I felt that the material was thin, though. πŸ™ I decided to return this.

Stitch Fix’s Loveappella Morgan Mix Knit Raglan Top ($54.00)

Loveappella Morgan Mix Knit Raglan Top

This was similar to the one I have already… I have it in red. However, this one is a bit scratchy in the length of the arms. Hmm… while I found it adorable, I returned this piece.

Stitch Fix’s Hailey 23 Kerrigan 2fer Knit Dress ($78.00)

I just couldn’t pass this one up. I added this to my Pinterest, Allison saw this, and delivered! She’s awesome like that! This dress flatters my figure and looks great to wear during the day or night! Win, win! I wore this with my leather jacket I received in an earlier fix and a cardigan I always throw on! As you can probably guess, I kept this!

Well, there you have it! 3 in 1 deal! I bet you haven’t seen that one before! I hope you enjoyed seeing my boxes… let me know which ones you thought I should have kept, or returned in the comments box! πŸ™‚

Hi, Tina. Yes, it has been a while since you posted. A month? It’s okay, the next thing to do it to post next week. πŸ™‚

Okay, let me take a pick. Hold on… need to scroll back. I got it. There are several great choices, but one stands out. The Judit blouse! I think it is elegant and looks really nice on you. But the operative word here is ELEGANT. πŸ™‚

  • Reply Indrani December 3, 2016 at 11:27 am

Whoa! Hats off to your patience in trying out all these tops. You look gorgeous in each of them. I liked the flowery pattern the most and then the plain colors!

  • Reply Sam (@followyouroad) December 5, 2016 at 3:35 pm

I really adore what you did here! I am a huge fan of thrift shops so I go through a lot of clothes all the time. It takes patience but the results (and savings) are totally worth it. Plus it’s also good for the environment πŸ™‚

I love all the outfits here.. but I love the pink blouse the most.. it looks great in you and it is really eye catching

  • Reply booksteaandmore December 8, 2016 at 5:05 am

Loved all the outfits but loved that black wrap blouse and knit dress the most

  • Reply Ella Ivoire December 8, 2016 at 7:18 pm

Wow you got engaged?? That’s awesome Tina, congratulations! It’s a beautiful ring! My favourite piece is the dress, I think it is something I would wear. πŸ™‚
really happy for you girl! Now I think it’s time for us to meet the lucky one and your dress choices? πŸ™‚

    • Reply Stylewithtina December 8, 2016 at 7:22 pm

Thank you!!! πŸ™‚ As for dress choice, I don’t know! I may go simple but classic. πŸ™‚

Hi, Tina! It’s my first time to post on your blog. I love how you present your tops and looks so gorgeous. All of the tops are simple yet elegant. Plus, you model your own tops, very economical.

    • Reply Stylewithtina December 8, 2016 at 8:33 pm

Thank you! I model because I am not a model! I am a “every day lady”! Plus, I wanted to show what’s in my box! πŸ™‚

  • Reply Thelittlelai: Beyond limits December 9, 2016 at 12:58 am

Wow, I really can’t figure out why do some people like you who really had a good taste when it comes to fashion? You really look awesome on the different dress that fits you and with how you convey your personality in your dress.

  • Reply mariaisquixotic December 9, 2016 at 6:44 am

My faves are the lace split top, sweater dress and the floral wrap blouse! Yeah, it’s been a while since I visited your blog. Tina, just a suggestion: you might consider having a tripod so you could take photos without you having to hold your camera. πŸ™‚ I know DLSRs could be heavy. πŸ™‚

  • Reply carrie@thelavenderhytta December 9, 2016 at 7:41 am

I used to love Stitch Fix! I wish they had something similar here in Norway. I hate going to shop for clothes. I love that last dress but really like several of the pieces you ended up getting!

Wow! Your blog is cool! I love your Stitch Fix’s Hailey 23 Kerrigan 2fer Knit Dress (the floral printed overlay is so awesome!) and your cardigans are nice too! Will love to see more of your posts.

  • Reply Joanna December 9, 2016 at 1:10 pm

3 boxes but all with beautiful pieces inside. I love the pink blouse, it looks perfect for a girls night out. Also, the detailed lace blouse is so pretty! I understand you perfectly when you say your computer broke. Mine did too and I am having so much trouble getting around until I managed to raise enough money to buy a new one. I need a work one and those are soooo expensive.

  • Reply Stargazer Writes December 9, 2016 at 7:51 pm

Congrats Tina! The ring is so lovely. <3 I personally liked the cardigan most! It's too bad it needed to be returned.

  • Reply Jerny December 9, 2016 at 10:38 pm

Hi Tina! They all look good for you. I personally loved your winter attire. Just a suggestion though, maybe you can photograph yourself not in front of the mirror? I’m not saying it’s bad but we can’t see everything or how the attire looks when you’re looking from afar. Plus, you’re pretty! Don’t hide your face behind the camera. πŸ™‚

    • Reply Stylewithtina December 9, 2016 at 10:47 pm

Thank you for suggestions! And thank you for the flattering comment. I think my next investment is a tripod!

  • Reply nbosken December 9, 2016 at 11:22 pm

I have yet to try Stitch Fix. It sounds like it’s right up my alley, though. I really loved that greenish-blue dress on you!

Wow, your boxes are really cute! I had heard about these before, but I’m really impressed with the selections in the boxes!

  • Reply Amanda- Curly Sue Review December 10, 2016 at 6:42 am

I think the first blouse you kept is lovely too. It really suits you! I disagree about the floral dress though I thought it really suited you! It’s amazing the way tastes differ.

  • Reply Elizabeth O. December 10, 2016 at 7:38 am

I love how each outfit looks comfy, perfect for going out during the colder days of the year! Everything suits you so well. Awesome choices!

  • Reply Ana De-Jesus December 10, 2016 at 12:56 pm

Lovely pieces. My favourite has to be the floral wrapover blouse as that looks like something I would wear.

  • Reply Euge Nia December 10, 2016 at 8:59 pm

Awesome ring, Tina! Congratulations!!!!! As for the outfits all of them look amazing on you, but my favorite is Kerrigan 2fer Knit Dress, I love how you matched it with the leather jacket and a cardigan! So chic and elegant! You rock! Can’t wait for your next post!

  • Reply thischicafrican December 11, 2016 at 9:18 am

My favourite is the sweater and the boots maybe because of this weather.

  • Reply Anna December 11, 2016 at 3:35 pm

Love all the outfits, my fave is the knit dress so dope. x

  • Reply Kristen Carlson December 12, 2016 at 4:34 pm

Love all these outfits! Definitely my style especially the pink henley blouse. Beautiful!

  • Reply Carola January 2, 2017 at 8:08 pm

Congratulations on your engagement! This looks like a nice subscription box (Even though you returned items)! Good thing you can also return pieces if you don’t like them. I think it’s nice that you’re showing all the items. I like the idea of the Hemsworth Lace Split Back Blouse. But the Daniel Rainn Koda Split Neck Blouse is a great choice! I definitely would have kept the Style Louey Side Button Pullover as well!

  • Reply Marge Gavan January 10, 2017 at 10:14 pm

At first I didn’t understand what was going on especially when you said you returned some of the clothes. Then I realized Stitch Fix is a styling service wherein they send you clothes and you buy what you want. I think that’s pretty cool. There is a similar service here in the Philippines, fairly new, but haven’t gotten around to trying it. I personally love shopping for clothes online. But yeah, I’m checking out Stitch Fix and see what I can find. I love the green vest also by the way.

  • Reply The Jerny January 11, 2017 at 12:23 pm

No matter what you wear, the best is still the diamond ring! Congratulations on your engagement! Such a lucky guys he seems! Just keep on posting and we’ll just be here to read on your next story!
